Past Projects

Amerigo Vespucci Ltd.

Amerigo Vespucci is an independently owned Italian restaurant based in the heart of the financial district of London. When the Sando team approached them we found that their existing website was built upon a commercial and proprietary content management system. This meant that they were essentially locked into a vendor with little or no way to make changes to their website without the support of the original web designer.

We built a new website for them using the award-winning and open source Joomla content management system. To drive their business forward we implemented an opt-in box for email marketing purposes. In addition we installed and configured a full table reservation system which overall increased their bookings taken via the website.

Other miscellaneous features included a customer review submission component as well as a fully featured blog (connected to Facebook and Twitter) for regular updates from the management.

Gianni B Ltd.

Gianni B is a wine supplier and distributing company to restaurants in London. When Gianni B approached the Sando team we found that their current method of recording sales and invoicing was paper-based i.e. all done by hand. This meant that ongoing records had to be kept filed manually giving little or no way to look up a history of orders in an easy way.

We built a customised OpenERP business application solution tailored to migrating their current system to an electronic one. This has helped streamline their sales and ordering processes greatly with far superior reporting capabilities now in place. In addition, a full history of orders and invoices can be looked up in seconds thus saving possible hours of manual looking up.

Other features of the system included a monthly statement of account auto-generated and sent out by email to all concerned parties as well as a easy to update products and items list.

Firat Limited

Wood Oven BBQ is a Turkish high-street restaurant owned and operated by Firat Limited. When Sando approached Wood Oven BBQ we found that no website existed and that previous attempts by the business to have a website had come to no avail. This meant that they were cautious about their dealings with a new website provider.

We built a new website from scratch using the award-winning Joomla content management system. To drive their business forward we implemented social media and included a geo-location based marketing tool to enable more visitors to discover the restaurant. As a result the restaurant has since expanded its premises and increased in popularity with its customers.

Other noteworthy features of the website included a fully hand-written restaurant menu as well as a 'find us on facebook' widget on every page.
